This document describes the cookies and tracking technologies used by DuckTip in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable local privacy laws.
What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on the user's device during browsing. They allow the site to remember preferences, measure visits and, in the case of third-party cookies, display personalised content. Some tracking technologies do not use traditional cookies but produce similar effects (e.g. pixels, fingerprinting, localStorage).

Third-party services and cookies used
Third-party cookies are only set if the user gives consent via the banner that appears on first visit.
Google Ads (Conversion Tracking)
We use Google Ads to promote DuckTip on search engines. The conversion tracking tag measures actions completed by users following an ad (e.g. clicks on an experiences or tours widget). In the absence of consent, thanks to Consent Mode v2, Google uses only aggregated and anonymous data for conversion modelling, without setting identifying cookies.

GetYourGuide
We embed GetYourGuide tour booking widgets within our city pages. When the widget loads, GetYourGuide may set cookies to remember user preferences, track affiliate conversions and personalise the content displayed.

Tiqets
